DuPont Nonwovens has announced price increases for its Sontara and Advance Composite Technology (ACT) nonwoven fabrics, effective immediately. Marketed under the brand names DuPont Suprel, Softesse and Sontara, these products are used in the health care, critical cleaning and other market segments. DuPont cited rising raw materials and energy costs as the primary reason for the increases.
